Several areas of both professional and clinical consultation fall within my areas of competency and expertise. I have provided professional consultation for many private practice colleagues, early career professionals, and graduate students looking to explore or enhance their private practice model. Setting policies, developing an approach to innovate and grow, and reflecting your identity and philosophy within your practice are some of my specializations. Helping providers thrive within the field, avoid burnout, and feel empowered are my primary objectives.
Since 2018, I've volunteered with Comfort Zone Camps, a non-profit serving children who have experienced the loss of a parent, guardian, or sibling. Children 7-17 are provided a completely free weekend camp experience, matched 1 to 1 with a caring adult volunteer, and learn they are not alone in their grief. Camps are currently available in states from coast to coast, as well as virtually. Creating experiential, emotion focused activities for campers is my role as a clinical volunteer and group facilitator. Healing Circles are divided by age group, occur 4 times over a typical camp weekend, and serve to provide space for campers to process their experiences, explore their emotions, share grief stories, and develop coping strategies for life outside camp. Please contact me to set up a consultation to discuss child and teen bereavement today. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer with Comfort Zone Camps, please reach out here.
