We'll have 2 amazing, local instructors from So Bam Fun, a woman-owned Mahjong business! Please review the 3 ticket options and choose the one that suits you best.
Learners ($80): This includes a fantastic, 2-hour guided as well as a Mahjong rule book to take with you! You'll be seated at a table for 4, be presented with beautiful tiles, and go from learning all the suits and images to playing a game! The instructors are skilled at answering questions and creating experiential engagement with the tiles. A light brunch will be served from 12-1, as well as after your lesson.
Beginners ($60): Have you played before and still have questions? This ticket will include the opportunity to play with an instructor's guidance. You must have a basic understanding of the game to purchase this ticket. If you've got the basics but are looking for an opportunity to play with an instructor's guidance and the ability to ask questions, this table is for you! You will be seated at a table for 4, and all tiles as well as a takeaway manual, will be provided. A light brunch will be served from 12-1, as well as after your lesson.
Ready to Play ($30): Already know how to play but still want to be a part of the fun? This ticket is for an experienced player who'd love to expand their circle of players to local Austin therapists! We'll set up a table for 4, ready for you to play. No tiles or gaming components needed. This ticket does not include access to the instructors for formal feedback or strategy. Light brunch will be available throughout the event!
